These are so bright that I put 2 in each room and mixed them with other lights which aren't as bright as these. They also consume very less energy and at the same time produce a bright light. I'm not sure if they are 100W equivalent but they do produce enough light for both my rooms. I think, these are very much needed for kids rooms. These seem to last longer and they come with 2 year unlimited warranty.
