Avalon Deluxe Big Box by Indie Boards & Cards collects and refreshes the classic social deduction experience of The Resistance Avalon in a single premium package. In this hidden role party game for 5 to 10 players, you take the role of a loyal servant of Arthur or a secret agent of Mordred, trying to guide your table to victory without revealing too much about who you really are. Each round, players discuss, accuse and negotiate as a team is chosen to embark on a Quest. Those selected secretly decide whether the mission succeeds or fails, then the table debates what the outcome reveals about their loyalties. Good players must read the table, build trust and complete three successful Quests, all while protecting the identity of Merlin, who knows where Evil is hiding but must speak carefully. Evil players try to sow doubt, fail missions at key moments and piece together who Merlin is so they can target him in a final assassination attempt. This deluxe edition bundles 23 roles and a broad mix of modules, including Lancelots, Excalibur, Plot Cards, Sorcerers and Rogues, along with new additions like the Messengers, Lunatic, Brute, Revealer, Cleric, Trickster and Deceiver.

Review: Be prepared for betrayal - This is imo one of the funnest most dramatic games out there one minute everyone is laughing and the next fingers are pointing and accusations flying. The rounds are short but a lot can happen in that time period. For such a reasonable price I can't recommend it enough. Also these are some of the highest quality cards I've ever come across which is a very nice bonus.

A: This game does not contain Quest, I bought that separately.

**Q: what is "huge amount of additional content added" mean? what is the difference between the original?**
A: If you do a google search, it will tell you about all of the differences.  This version is an update from the original basic game and has all of the updated modules and characters.
