Cutting with scissors actually chipped some of the corners of the glass, so be careful! I really wanted that mid century look and I loved the mirror on mirror effect. I actually used a piece of plywood behind my mirror to help keep my tiles straight and it also gave it more of a 3D look. Some of my tiles still came out a bit uneven and I do have a couple of gaps if you look really close. I tried a wet tile saw but that ended up shattering pieces off more than helping.
