My hair is soft, shiny, and healthy looking with body even after coloring it. I do still have to use some heat (flat iron) to straighten the frizzes on very humid days, but nothing like prior to using this product. I also use the semi-permanent color by the same company (reviewing it soon). I have not used the items separately to see if I get the same results, but the combination has been beyond my expectations. Where other expensive salon shampoos and conditoners have failed, this has excelled. It smells great too. (Update: 4-21-2014) After using this product for over a year, it stopped working as well. It also became more difficult to pump; I'm guessing the formula was changed to be thicker. I have since switched to Ion Keratin Smoothing Shampoo and the Conditioner. It works very well by itself, but I still needed a little something extra to get completely smooth hair.
