## Description

The Black Boar ATV/UTV S-Tine Cultivator Implement allows you to re-till or prepare new ground. It contains (6) tines that are thinner and dig deeper for better soil aeration. Each tine includes pre-attached, durable wear-resistant plow points for long-lasting use. The tines can be added or removed as needed. An optimized design helps keep the implement angled properly when lowered. When attached to Black Boar's Motorized Lift (model 66000) or Manual Lift (model 66013), the implement features a superior range of motion without having to move pins or manually drop the hitch. It is constructed of durable steel with a streamlined, minimalist design that allows for one-person installation. To operate, the implement requires the Black Boar Motorized Lift (model 66000) or the Black Boar Manual Lift (model 66013).

Review: Perfect for what I needed - We have a small acre and a half planting of sweet corn we grow for market every year. Due to peculiarities in weather this year, our herbicides were not terribly effective, in particular on our initial planting. Something needed to be done or we were at risk of losing the majority of our sweetcorn. We plant with a very old 4 row planter with markers that don't function, so have to try to do the best we can eyeballing row spacing. Because of this, the rows are uneven and not suited to using a larger cultivator. I found this and decided to give it a try. I could not be happier with the results. This is a nice little piece of equipment that I expect to be using for years to come. I set it up on a manual lift and use a 20 volt drill to lower the cultivator at the beginning of each row and raise it at the end. I changed the recommended spacing slightly to give an extra 2 inches of spacing in the center so that I could drive right over the row of corn and dig up on either side of the row. The only trick using it was to get the depth consistently right. Deep enough to uproot the weeds while being not so deep that it would bury or uproot the corn. My soil is extremely heavy and quite rocky. The cultivator handled it well. My 500 Rubicon was able to pull this easily. I kept the ATV in Low gear and held a speed of 3-4 mph while pulling the cultivator. I took a quick picture to show the before and after. Keep in mind that this is in my last planting which had much less weed trouble, but the results were much the same. We are very satisfied. A couple words of advice. Be mindful that when using in tall weeds/grass, the weeds can and will bind creating a ball of weeds/dirt that you will need to stop and clear out periodically (this is also true of the 12.5 foot chisel plow I pull with my 105 horse International, but is a lot easier to deal with on this cultivator). If trying to use this on soil that has not been previously worked up, I would advise shortening the vegetation first to avoid binding as much as possible, and then working your ground in stages. First shallow, then a little deeper. Be patient, go slow and do this until proper depth is achieved. Your equipment will last a lot longer.
Review: 3 tines broke in the first use today, company replaced product and then some - Edit-Update... This company stood behind their product, after reviewing photos, they immediately sent replacements and an extra surprise! Very impressed. Would order again ! Very dissatisfied with this purchase- I have messaged the company and will change this review if they are helpful and stand behind their products. This was purchased May 2021 to do existing food plots for this season. Today, June 12, upon first use, to put in the deer food plots, 3 of the S tines have broken rendering the whole unit useless. Husband is very unhappy that what looked like a good product for the food plots, has failed. This was assembled properly and being used properly until the 3 S tines broke. We fully expect that this company will send replacement S tines ASAP. I will update this post with the company response.***** 5 stars for the company’s response !
