Yesterday morning I was riding down a steep slope, jumping rocks and stumps in my path and made a total rookie mistake by taking my eyes off the trail for a split second. A curve was coming up and I took it too wide, my front tire hit wet grass ANNNNNNNNND you can imagine what happened from there. Total wipe out.I got banged up pretty good, most of the impact went straight to my head. The helmet ended up cracking but only after it did its job.....protecting my head! I feel that my injuries would be a lot worse if I had not had this helmet on.
