**Q: Can these be used for humidity tray for a bonsai plant? Thanks**
A: Yes.  This is what they use in the bonsai plants you see in stores.

**Q: Since these are beach pebbles, do they contain salt?   Did you rinse or soak them before use?**
A: They don't contain salt I don't think. I did not rinse them before using them and my plants are doing just fine! :-)

**Q: Is this fine for fish aquariums?**
A: I have no clue as I use it for plants

Exactly what i was looking for. I was looking for the very tiny stones (not fine sand) used to cover the top of succulent/cactus planters and had mistakenly ordered other larger sizes "pea gravel" and "river pebbles" from misinformation online. This is more like a very chunky sand and had the look i wanted. A sandy color but neither all one color that can look unnatural nor too multi-color which looks messy. The bag looks very tiny but it covered multiple small planters for me ranging up to 8".

    Small Rocks Not Sand

I was expecting ‘sand’ due to the labeling.  This product is actually small rocks which are very nice but not what I thought I was ordering.  I make succulent arrangements and can still use them.  It is a small sized bag.  The quality is good though.
