The package was damaged in shipment and the mounting hardware was gone. They replaced it very quickly and without question. So the customer service experience was great.Installation was about a 5 minute process. As for the muffler, it is a significant improvement. "Silent" is a stretch, and I was hoping for a little more, but it is much better than before. Why Polaris sells these with useless factory mufflers is another conversation. As others have noted, there is still a lot of drive train noise that isn't part of the exhaust noise. A muffler won't stop the bed squeaks and rattles. If you're trying to sneak up on an elk, this probably won't help you. If you are trying to drive out of a neighborhood for morning ranch chores without waking everybody up, it really helps. Mine is the high altitude version if that makes any difference.
