My current down pillows have been on their last legs for quite some time, so the search started. Knowing that, for me, down is the best I've found. Of course, the prices of real down has gotten out of hand so I started to search. There's so much out there, but I didn't want anything that I had to air out for days because of off gassing, etc. who wants to put their head on something that the chemicals are so vile that you have to air it out? Wool pillows what an unusual concept, no vats of chemicals or plastics just plain wool from happy sheep in New Zealand. I like that you can remove some of the wool to make the pillow your own. My first night using this pillow was really wonderful, it fluffs, it scrunches, you can mold it to your liking. It did not sleep hot and I found it comfortable without any odor at all or the "wet dog" smell some folks complained about in other reviews. Only time will tell if this wool pillow will continue to meet my needs, for now I'm happy with the purchase. It was a little more expensive then what I would have liked to spend, but it is lasts years the money is well worth it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Too lofty then too compacted *by D***N on Reviewed in the United States on August 27, 2017* The only issue I have with this is the fill density. It starts out a really lofty pillow, raising my head above where it should be. (As other reviewers said, it comes apparently overfilled.) Then after less than a month it has already compacted to below where it should be. That is, if I'm lying on my side, the angle of my neck went from kinked up to kinked down. It was just right for a week or so, but no amount of fluffing is bringing it back to the right height. Too bad for the cost - but now it may just be a body pillow. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wonderful, adjustable pillow *by V***L on Reviewed in the United States on June 9, 2018* I needed a very flat pillow with my firm, memory foam, gel mattress pad. I love that I could remove fill from this pillow to suit my needs. The wool has kept things cool, unlike the synthetic pillows I tried. 100% cotton sheets, 100% cotton mattress pad, 100% cotton pajamas, 100% cotton or wool blankets have given me the most restful sleep possible. If you are peri-menopausal, I cant recommend all natural sleeping materials. You won't regret it.
