**Q: Hi, can this be added to melted chocolate without having the chocolate seize up?**
A: Anything that contains water will jeopardize your chocolate. That is the problem with flavoring, it almost always has water in it

This stuff was THE BOMB. I was drafted to make a wedding cake for my niece and she requested strawberry. I have never made a wedding cake before, so I recruited my sister, who was a professional baker. She said we needed Strawberry Essence (NOT strawberry extract) to make our strawberry buttercream filling. I'm glad I listened to her because the result was magical. The flavor was incredibly natural and no trace of a chemical taste. It was like biting into the freshest, ripest strawberry. If you're wondering about the cake in general, we baked a white cake, but between each layer we used strawberry jam and strawberry buttercream made with this product. I'm not exaggerating when I tell you this was the best cake I ever made. Highly, highly recommend this for your next strawberry wedding cake, or any strawberry cake.
