My daughter, who is now 1, was able to pull up other suction-cup plates and bowls with ease, but this one has frustrated her so much that she stopped trying to remove it from the highchair. It's so "sticky" that it suctions onto anything in close distance e.g. counters, even when you're not trying to get it to stick. I also really like the removable blue collar that goes on this bowl which we will start using more as our daughter moves into the phase of trying to use utensils to feed herself. I was painfully aware and my granddaughter looked me in my eyes and daintily picked up the plate and gingerly tossed it over on the floor.
