It's very gentle on the skin, has a very light scent, and doesn't irritate eyes should any get into it. This is a lightweight clear shampoo that is liquid enough to disperse easily through a dogs coat. It has a mild pleasant scent that I loved. I did not think it smelled like baby powder, but felt the scent was more floral. It foamed well and did a good job of cleaning. I liked it. Glad it is tear free.
