I had resorted to buying dark colored clothing and wore layers to hide wet underarms. Tried so many antiperspirants and deodorants, including clinical strength. Nothing helped. Purchased Perspirex in October of last year and used it inconsistently. I have very sensitive skin and did get a red rash, itchiness, slight burning and dry/flaky skin. What helped: not shaving for several days before applying, using lotion on dry areas and using a skim coat of Perspirex once a week, then twice a week to get used to it. Summer time came and I began using the product more consistently. After less than a month, I can apply 2-3 times per week and notice a significantly less amount of sweat and odour. It no longer irritates my skin. It is a small container, but is not applied every day so will last quite some time. It is clear and has a slight alcohol-y smell to it. I am scent-sensitive and it is not that bad. I use this a couple of times per week and regular antiperspirant every day. I'm not sure if the antiperspirant is even really needed at this point.
