I have a laundry room, well more of a closet since it's just the washer and dryer, and most of the time I hve to turn on the landing light which also means turning on the light at the stairs. Complete waste of electricity since I just need light in over the machines. I did not want to spend money having it wired for an over head light and just wanted something I could plug in with a switch. I saw this and was a little skeptical because the product photos make it look giant. I bought it and WELL WORTH IT!! It's not giant, it's not gaudy, it's simple and clean looking. The cord is covered in nylon so it's not likely to wear out and tear, it's long, and the switch is actually also a dimmer! The only thing that didn't work is the little plastic thingies they send to attach to the cord so it doesn't slip when mounted. They don't fit the size of the cord. I MacGyver'ed my way past that and set it up without them and the light looks and works great. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Review: Nice lamp, issue solved quickly. - The original lamp did not work but they quickly sent out a replacement and it works and looks very nice.
