Of course we know that Mercedes uses plastic for a part that gets this much wear and tear so that they can charge you an arm and a leg to replace the whole unit instead of fixing a very small part that is the root of the problem.This DIY is probably a bit more advanced and I would only tackle it if you feel comfortable with working with very small pieces and have worked on things like this before. It's definitely not a beginner fix in my opinion. But if you are brave enough and want to try it, there are good videos online and you can repair the part in a short time and save yourself thousands.But everything fit perfectly in terms of the part goes. The tools that it comes with are an added bonus but aren't the strongest ones and bent up a little while using them. But overall still give it 5 stars because it's exactly what they say it is.
