As someone who wanted to avoid coil whine and bought this card for that reason, I'm fine with it. For example, Hogwarts Legacy doesn't see too much improvement (it's notoriously taxing on your whole system and not the most optimized), but Horizon Zero Dawn at native 1440p Ultra went from 90fps on an RTX 2080 ti to 155fps (monitor cap) on the 4090. It's still only around 75% GPU usage, 63C and drawing roughly the same power as my 2080 ti at around 250W. That's over a 70% uplift for 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘢𝘮𝘦 𝘱𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘳 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘶𝘮𝘱𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯, a dozen degrees cooler, and a lot quieter due to much lower fan speed. Aside from obviously flourishing at 4k, this card could do a lot more than that at 1440p with a cutting-edge CPU, RAM and a 240hz monitor. It is a BEAST, and with 24GB of VRAM it may actually stay powerful for a few years. Still, let's be real; the 4090 is overpriced and I can't give it good marks for value even though Gigabyte is being really cool here compared to the competition. I stand strong in my belief that the whole pricing structure of the 40-series is one tier too high; the FE should retail around $1249-$1299, which would put this one around $1349-$1399. Still, this isn't Gigabyte's fault, it's Nvidia all the way, and I appreciate Gigabyte offering this for a comparatively "reasonable" price. If you decided (like I did) that the 4090 is the only card that makes sense to buy for longevity's sake—or you simply want the best—this is a great option.
Review: Top of the line video card. - I build a new computer for flight simming and as flight sims are very demanding on computers, I wanted the best video card I could buy, within reason. The 4090 at the time of purchase was the top card. Although there are different manufacturers that make 4090s, I decided on this one from Gigabyte. I couldn't be happier. I have used it for quite some time now and it is pretty quiet for a very powerful card. It does get warm sometimes but that is to be expected. I have never had it overheat or even come close to doing so. I paired this with a good processor and I am able to max out Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, DCS and now Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. I would recommend this card.

**Q: I bought from your website for $1600 yet you post it here for this outrageous price?? why??! i thought scalping pricing was dead. crooks man.**
A: The item is being sold by a 3rd party, not from Amazon.  Basically a scalper.  I am just going to hold out til Q2 and a potential price drop from the manufacturers.  Scalpers know they are hosed and are running out of suckers more and more.  I even heard a rumor that the 4080 is selling so poorly they might drop the price to 999 to compete with the AMD cards.

**Q: Does this gpu fit in a corsair 4000d case?**
A: Yes it will fit only if you don't intend to mount an AIO to the front of the case. If you want to mount an AIO to the front it will not fit.

**Q: Is it RBG**
A: It has fans that light up yes, but the sides do not.

**Q: Power requirements: my pc power supply 1000W, will it be enough for RTX 4090, plus I currently have RTX 3080 ,will it be easy to swap with RTX 4090?**

Yes the RTX 4090 recommended PSU is 1000 watts.
It will be sufficient and swappable from your 3080.
Note this does use the new 16pin power plug, but an adapter is included in the box.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Top of the line video card.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works good 0 issues after first year of daily use

I have had absolutely no problems with my card. I've had it almost a year now and it plays anything on max settings on my 1440p monitor. I was worried that the card could catch fire. I use a power supply that is designed to work with the 40 series. From what I could tell all the or most of the issues with the new power system is from people buying power cable adapters and using those instead of buying a new power supply that is designed to use that type of cord. Now 90 % of the 4090s do not have a safety fuse on the dye to protect your card. This one does not have it, I believe it was an MSI card. I was surprised to learn that even after all the cards catching fire or shorting out parts that only one company (MSI) decided to stop and actually do something that could help protect their customers investment by adding a fuse. and I believe that only a certain version of the msi 4090 has that fuse. All and all I'm happy my card has no coil wine and works as needed every day every time without fail. (Just dont buy gigabyte power supplies they use random parts seriously watched a vid where several identical psu's were opened up and they all had mis matching parts.)
