They fixed the issue with the cap, and no place to put it from other reviewers. This is not an issue anymore. They have made groves on the top of the pen so you can thread the cap while using it. This pen should last a lifetime and then some. Great graduation gift. Starting a new job, desk job, construction job, any job.
