Dosage: Only take Buscopan® IBS Relief if your doctor has diagnosed that you have Irritable Bowel Syndrome. **Q: What is difference between Mebeverine hydrochoride (mebeverine) & Hyoscine Butylbromide (Buscopan)**
A: Mebeverine is a preventive medication that is taken regularly usually only prescribed by doctor.  Buscopan is for when symptoms arise and can be taken as and when needed.

**Q: How physically large are the tablettes?**
A: Tiny. Less than half a centimetre in diameter :) and 'sugar' or wax coated, or, Slippery, smooth, shiny exterior - so they are extremely easy to swallow :)

**Q: Do these contain pepermint oil**
A: No peppermint in these

**Q: Is this a laxative or stool softener which helps/makes you go**
A: For me personally, yes it does both, I suffer from IBS constipation, and I have pain , I take 2 Buscopan, and it helps me go and ,(sorry if too much information), but the stool passes quickly too, so it definitely softens and makes me go. This is my personal experience, I always keep Buscopan as an emergency.
