(I decided that I couldn’t be trusted, there was no outside influence involved). I love the contrast between the slightly grainy texture and mellow flavour of the marzipan and the smooth, rich dark taste of the chocolate that crunches when you bite into it. It really is too delicious for words. Apart from the price, my only quibble is that the blocks don’t often break along the predetermined lines and leaves behind exposed marzipan or spikes of dark chocolate sticking out. This too is a problem because of course you have to neaten it up, which means it disappears even faster.
