## Description

The DRC200Z is a cordless robotic vacuum cleaner ideal for commercial and industrial use, Powered by two 18V Li-ion LXT slide Type batteries (in parallel and not included) to supply energy to the brushless motor. The DRC200Z features automatic cleaning; two automatic running modes (random and pattern). buzzer and blinking light to make nearby workers aware of its presence and cleaning area setting function. This enables the user to define a cleaning area by Putting boundary tape on the floor as a boundary line that the cleaner cannot pass. An ultrasonic sensor and bumper sensor detects obstacles. There are two selectable dust collection modes; vacuum Plus brush used for small and large debris and power brush only, used for collecting large debris. The DRC200Z is equipped with cliff sensor, on-timer to enable automatic starting at 1 hour, 3 hours or 5 hours and wireless remote controller. Review: Poor - Really disappointed, I have about 10k of makita gear so when I seen this at half price I was delighted so I purchased it for my workshop. Suctions low, navigation is poor and would get stuck in one spot, side brushes get under rugs and carpet edges and lifts and gets stuck, in a square room it would wander off of its straight line after mapping one wall, dust collect box isn’t very big so spent more time emptying it so just as well of set up my normal hoover also the seal within the unit to the dust box isn’t tight the area it sits fills with dust and debris, on a good note batteries go on for ever. I tried this on Lino, carpet and concrete, I would say lino was the best for this unit. I requested straight away for a return hopefully I’ll get a full refund as I don’t feel this product is worth the box it was sent in.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Why does it say brushless when I can see 2 brushes on the front?**
A: There are 2 types of electric motors depending on how the moving part connects with the static one. Some have brushes that eventually need replacement and have less efficiency. The newest use magnetic fields and don’t need to move electricity to the center.
That’s what the description is about.

**Q: Can it be used on a terrace for leaves and sand?**
A: I would not use it under wet conditions (say: outside). Mine works in a large hall (cars, workplace aso) that is frequently open to the outdoors. Sand gets in, leafs and hay (horses). Don’t expect it to ‘eat’ piles of leaves though.

Mind 2 things: 1. don’t save on the batteries (I use two 5 ah), otherwise you keep changing and charging. 2. Mind ‘stuff’ hanging around and sweeping mats. The machine  might get stuck.

### ⭐⭐ A bit rich for my blood

I love my makita tools but this is a little too much even for a fan boy like me. For this money I could pay the apprentice a bit more to maybe pull his finger out and have a proper tidy up at the end of the day.
