The syrup is lovely and a really nice little treat to add to my coffee when I feel like it.It is quite sweet so although they suggest 2 tea spoons per cup of coffee, I personally prefer just a max of 1 teaspoon for my coffee.I will admit that there isn't a huge "pumpkin" flavor to this, but like I said I also don't use as much of it as is recommended. If you are looking for a way to add a little bit of niceness to your coffee then don't hesitate.
