They take a lot of use over a couple of summers before getting holes in the fabric part. I'm a size 7 UK in regular shoes and buy these in a 6, so they're not too loose. Easy on and off.

A: Adult size 9 is EU42

**Q: I am often a size 5, but really a 5.5, should I buy a 5 or 6? ( I have a slim foot)**
A: I am quite a broad foot but found them hard to get on as they are really narrow I am a 5.5 but got a 6 and length is good! But once on perfect!

**Q: Are they safe to swim in, in the sea, just a little?**
A: I swam in the sea with them. I used them to go surfing, so was swimming out and surfing back in solidly for 3 hours and they were fine.

**Q: Are these adult or child shoe size ?**
A: i purchased adults size 10; they started to fall apart after one hour.

Good boots, l am a size 5 1/2 and bought a 6, which was the right size for me so l can wear socks under in the cold weather. The width is comfortable, l am average l would say. I have thick ankles so went for the adjustable grip which works well and l think the sole is going to be fine for me to walk home (a few minutes from the sea on pavement) I have worn in the sea a couple of times so far as its warm at the moment and l don't need them but l have no concerns and for the price l think they are a bargain. Lost one point as l think l will need some socks under later in the year.
