I can't answer your question fully. However, I have been able to use the Brother FS100WT to free motion small double bed size quilts. Choose the correct needle and go slowly. If you’re sewing over a bulky seam, then you need to use a hump jumper. (Google it if you don’t know how they work) However, I wouldn’t expect it to compete with an industrial sewing machine so it depends on what fabric and projects you intend using it for.
