My daughters use on the Peppa pig and hello kitty wipe clean books. It just takes longer to clean it. You can use a baby wipe for any marks left, if any.. **Q: Can these pens be used on laminated posters and then wiped off clean - either with special sponge or just plain cloth etc....?** A: If instantly then yes but if it dries alittle bit then no, also not good on white board. I bought them for the washable drawing mats. But kids ended up using on white board and lamented posters and it took a while to remove **Q: Do the pens have ventilated lids to avoid choking?** A: The lids do have some small holes at the top, i can't say for certain that it will stop choking but currently my 2 year old has not had a problem with them.
