You can see them like small flakes of dandruff- but moving! I’ve been keeping them for years and they’d never had lice before. Mites, yes but never lice. My son’s guinea pig was treated for this with Xeno spray from the vet and it was very expensive. I wanted to see if there were any home treatments I could try first. I trimmed the hair a little first, then tried the treatment method with shampoo. I went on to buy the pack with conditioner and spray. I thought I’d have to repeat the treatment but it has never come back. Just be careful around the head and ears. Great to have the treatment in now in case it comes back. Apparently it is usually from other guinea pigs but can possibly be environmental. ## Features - Use biocides safely.
