If you restring it with real guitar strings, the problem becomes even worse. The strings will always sit fairly loose, so you're not gonna get much in the way of callus building or increasing finger strength for holding down notes. Honestly, all I'd use this practice tool for is to practice chords. Keep in mind, the limited fretboard means you're limiting your muscle memory to the end of your neck, so you're definitely gonna want to practice higher up the neck on a real guitar occasionally, so that you don't limit your muscle memory to the wider frets.The included finger trainer is pretty decent quality, and is good for beginner to intermediate players. No adjustable resistance means you're not gonna get much use if you're a seasoned player. The best thing about the finger trainer is each finger is isolated so you can focus training on weak fingers.The stickers are great, the color coding can be helpful or confusing, I guess it all depends on how well-versed you are with music theory and scales.
