It isn’t quite enough of an angle for me so I add a couple of pillows on top of it. I am so glad I got this for my lpr since I am not able to sleep comfortably on the couch for elevation. A wedge pillow is not recommended for lpr since they typically do not give you enough height, but after adding a couple of other pillows I am able to get the 45 degree angle I need. Such a huge difference in how I feel after using this pillow! You can sleep on your side with this 12” pillow, but not for too long and definitely not if you have other pillows propped up on top of it too! I am so glad I finally purchased this wedge pillow and I am so glad I got the 12” one! Don’t wait to get yours if you are having issues with gerd or lpr. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Forias 12” wedge pillow *by A***R on October 8, 2023* I bought this pillow to help me with my hiatal hernia, it works great with if you are a back sleeper, but I am a side sleeper and I tend to slide down it. It is a firm pillow, but it is somewhat comfortable. I can’t sleep comfortably on my side, but I do like the pillow. I gave it a four star only because it is really hard to sleep on my side using it, but it is a great pillow, and I still use it!
