There are 24 receipes in 4 different sections: scrambled snake and other breakfasts, deep dark wood snacks, turned out toes and other meals and gruffalo crumble (of course!) and other sweet treats. All of the recipes are appealing to young children, are relatively straight forward and most can be made with ingredients you would be likely to have in the cupboard, maybe with the exception of gelatine for the jellies. This morning we had mouse toast and scrambled snake for breakfast and my daughter loved it. See pictures for all the recipes included, an example of one of the recipes and my version of mouse toast. All the recipes look easy to do, apart from the gruffalo cake which is a bit more creative. Really looking forward to making gruffalo crumble and owl ice cream!
