Despite being so good at fighting bacteria, its still gentle enough as it doesn’t dry my skin or strip it of it natural goodness. The bar is nice and heavy and lasts for MONTHS. I might even recommend you cut the soap in half for easier handling. Now its not a miracle product; it did take a couple of weeks for me to notice its effects and I still get my little bouts of acne. But it’s a great daily cleanser that leaves you feeling squeaky clean without having any negative effects on the quality of your skin. There are products on the market that do that if that's what you want ,but me be proud of your colour not to lighten it. **Q: is it good** A: It's cleared up an eczema flare up within two days and my skin feels better than ever! You get a lovely clean feeling and finally my skin feels soft and supple. Way better than Cetraben and E45 and a fraction of the cost! Sometimes I alternate with other soaps/cleansers but I always come back to this one because it works and it works exceptionally well. It helps to refine my skin, makes it smoother and brighter, helps reduce chicken-bump skin ( as long as followed by a moisturiser). It also helps to reduce and dry out acne. It can be abit drying so it is best to use a good moisturiser, each time this soap is used. Argan oil works really well, as does aloe vera oil. During my journey to the 'right' product, I have used black soaps that were pretty expensive for what they were but I can honestly say that Dudu Osun delivers the same result but at a fraction of the cost.
