Yes it is fine. Put your shredded paper in a large bucket and soak with water. Better with non-glossy paper. Between one and three days depending on thickness. When pressing be aware that the mucky water will dispell so do this over the garden or somewhere that won't matter. Also wear gloves or cover the handles as it needs a good amount of pressure so can hurt hands. How long the briquettes take to dry depends on the weather. Good luck **Q: What size are the bricks?** A: Same size as the internal measurement of the brickmaker, don't have it in front of me now but about 10ins X 4ins x2ins, obviously depth depends on how much paper you manage to squash into it & how tightly. **Q: Does it work with horse poop?** A: See this article about using Horse manure to make bricks for fire.
