Mine was cracked around the plug hole and it sealed it and is probably stronger than before. Only downside is that it is not white when dry so I had to paint over it afterwards. There are more expensive versions that are coloured, so you might be better with those. **Q: Have quite a long deep crack in the bottom of my bath will this work ?** A: my experience of this is that the resulting mend is quite lumpy and rough textured. I think it would stop the leak but be uncomfortable, difficult to get smooth enough. NB This is only a guess as to the mend and the finish. **Q: is this product suitable for underwater use on a boat?** A: Possibly. Apply plenty* of the product in a warm dry area.
