Review: Much improved sound for Zoom meetings - Bought this headset for use with my Acer laptop for Zoom meetings. I am a bit hard of hearing, and during meetings couldn't always hear or make out everything that was being said by other partipants of the meeting via the laptop's built in speakers. Putting these on, I can now hear every word clearly, a BIG improvement. Very pleased with them, the results, and would highly reccomend them, with Logitech being a quality brand.

This headset is aimed at the online meeting market, and that is what I bought it for. I needed a headset for the many Teams meetings I have every day. Normally, headsets in this category tend to lean towards the mids and highs for normal vocal usage. This headset, however, is pretty bass heavy. This is not a bad thing, as it means that if you want to listen to some music between meetings, or even have a game or two, the audio is pretty good. The stereo separation is also very good. My testing of the microphone has produced good results, with clear voice, and no background noise. As I am in an office of my own, and there is little background noise to actually cancel out, I can't judge how effective the noise cancelling is. I've tested the headset with continuous use for around three hours, and it isn't too bad in the comfort department. I can feel the headband, but isn't pressing into my head. The pressure on my ears is OK, it does press a little tighter than I'd like, but it doesn't get to the point of being uncomfortable, and isn't over-heating my ears. Build quality is just OK. There are a few sharp edges on the plastic for the microphone, and the all plastic construction doesn't lend itself to a feeling of longevity. The ear pads are soft, but can see the faux-leather pads wearing out after a while. My biggest concern on the build quality side is the cable. Just the part that goes from the volume/mute control to the headphones, it's significantly thinner than the rest of the cable. I am assuming that this is to reduce the overall weight, and while there is some strain relief on the cable, I can see this being a weak point, and likely to be the first thing to fail unless great care is taken when taking it on/off and when packing it away. For the price, this is a very good headset. While it sits squarely in the budget headset category, it punches above it's weight in audio quality.

**Q: Is the headset compatible with a Windows 7 laptop?**
A: Yes; I've used with with Windows 7 and found no compatibility issues.

**Q: how easy is it to set up or is it just plug and play?**
A: it takes longer to take it out that horrible heat shrunk wrapping than it does to plug it in your USB port and play.  You may have to go into your control panel "sounds and devices" and change some settings in there from speakers to headphones etc just so your pc has stopped speakers and using headphones or vice versa, I don't know exaclty as i don't have speakers, but on my laptop I had to configure the control panel settings to tell the laptop to stop using the inbuilt speakers and use the headphones.  Just thought i would sugest this if you did have any problems.  Overall, for the price, these headphones are well worth the money, many friends comment on the clarity of speech received and they are comfortable, letting just the right amount of air to circulate around to stop your ears sweating as you can get with other over the ear style cups.  Hope that helps

**Q: is this headset compatible with an iMac?**
A: Yes this headset was recommended by a relative whom I  Skype often and it works just fine with my MAC

**Q: Is it good for gaming**
A: It's fine. It's not 7.1 surround or anything, but it's clear enough stereo and if you need it great speech and comfy to wear over time. But it isn't a substitute for proper surround one if your playing FPS games.
