Avoid. **Q: How big are these tablets?** A: About 10mm across. Quite thin. You can swallow them easily with water. Unlike the general consensus that acid reflux is caused by too much acid, I believe the opposite-that it's caused by too little. (there's a whole book dedicated to this subject called 'Why stomach acid is good for you'. Worth a read.Anyway, I take these if and when I suffer from acid indigestion and they sort the problem. I also take them with protein meals to help with digestion. Others have said that they smell and taste awful. I disagree. The taste is a bit 'zingy' (but this is only a momentary thing if you don't like zingy) and the smell-what smell? I have a good sense of smell (in fact probably my strongest sense now I'm going blind and deaf 😂 (old age)) and I can't smell anything. For anyone with low stomach acid, digesting protein can be a huge problem as it tends to sit in your stomach for ages. I could burp 4 hours after a meal and it was gross! No more burping, no more uncomfortable heaviness in my stomach.
