A bit more expensive but if you are going to start buffering, it needs to be right or you may be doing more harm than good. Time to Change!!! :-) **Q: How many test will it do?** A: All I can say is, quite a lot. Because the test is performed by adding more and more test solution until it changes colour, the amount used depends on your water hardness, so the number of tests you'll be able get out of it will vary quite a lot. But I'd say it's probably good for over 50 at least. **Q: Does the ph test kits have a shelf life** A: Not sure but would not rely on any brands test strips. Especially API. Recommend a JBL or Sera test kit. **Q: Nitrate test, do bottles have the red seal on them?
