The parasol looks all right, won't be using it much for now as summer seems to have gone. My table never has any water on it, if that is what you are concerned about, the water seems to drain down through the hole as it is flat against the table. I love my set, it is excellent value for money, the chairs are very comfortable, and easily folded and unfolded, easy to stack, I keep my in my conservatory behind one of my chairs, they do not take up too much space, and I do not like to clutter my conservatory, in fact I am told I am very House Proud, so that should tell you that they MUST be ok, if they are in my Conservatory. The Parasol has the tilt function on it which I thought was very good especially for a cheaper set. Basically I am extremely pleased with the Whole Set, and it is very functional, can seat 4+ people around it, granted it is a squeeze but all good fun. The Frame is very sturdy and I like the way that the frame and legs have two large round fixings to make it extra strong, and the hole for the Parasol is well sized. The Glass Table is well made and very strong, it also cleans off nicely, and because it has a subtle pattern in the glass you do not get any glare from the table. A standard tablecloth will fit on it nicely, and it really does look nice. I would definately recommend it to you, and I would'nt really worry about it not having a cap over the hole, as you could always put something over it should you want too. Sue **Q: are the backs of the chairs of durable material will they last as i have mobility problems they wont wear away** A: The backs are made of the same material as the seats. The chairs are quite small though, i thought i had been incorrectly supplied with childrens chairs as well until i looked again at the photo and it shows the seats are the same height as the lower plastic ring on the table that bolts the legs together.I'm 5'11" and also have mobility problems including getting up from a sitting position. Although i've only used this set for two days, i've not had any problems getting up - no more than any other chair/sofa etc anyway.There is a warning on the box about the maximum weight of the person sitting in them and it says they are only suitable for people up to 120kg which is 20 stone in old money or thereabouts, maybe 19 and a bit stone. Working it out, 8 stone is 50kg, so 16 stone is 100kg, 20 stone is 125kg. The table itself is probably worth the money on its own to be fair and you get the parasol too, albeit a thing one. Maybe do like i'm going to do and buy it and use it as it is for now then upgrade the chairs to something more comfortable and easier to get up and down from as and when.Hope that gives you a bit more insight! **Q: There are 2 different descriptions.
