You might be able to turn it on it's side and make it work. It has a v-groove on the sides as well as on the top. It can be used either direction. It's a nice thing to have around if you decide to get one and cannot use it inside the case. If you lay it on it's side and measure the groove to the outside edges, it's 3 7/8 inches wide and 3 7/8 inches tall. (Remember, this is with it laying down, which is how it will be placed into the case.) The length of it, standing up with the base down, it is 4 7/8" tall. You will have to add a little for the thickness of the neck as it doesn't go all the way down into the block. Hope this helps out. Great price too ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ “My Guitar Finally Had a Pillow Day” *by T***D on 13 October 2025* I always figured changing strings meant balancing my guitar on a stack of towels or my trembling knees and hoping for the best. Enter this little guy. Slid the neck onto it, fiddled with a few angles (yes this cube is posh, with five adjustment modes) and instantly felt like a proper tech. No sliding around, no scratching, just a stable, cushy cradle. It even tucks strings out of the way and feels gentle on finishes. (No battle scars.) Sure, it sometimes tips over if you’re using the tallest angle and applying heavy torque but I’ve yet to wreck anything. I recommend this stand. Good value, easy peasy to use and fits all the guitars I own. You can also use it as a pot to store all your tech tools in when not in use.
