You would dry then apply suncream. It works well.... Sorry that is not much help. **Q: Is it safe to use as a dog shampoo?** A: I don't think so as this is used to help keep you from getting bitten from mosquitoes. May I suggest you use a proper dog shampoo . Tigi make really nice dog shampoo and so do wahl . **Q: Would this product help against scabies mites?** A: I do not know but I doubt it. It is more to deter bugs from biting in the first place. For scabies I imagine you need special lotion from the doctor or pharmacist.
