Review: If you need a Strong, small and compact tool bag this is the one for you. - Firstly background (call out engineer, primarily mechanical engineering) I was tired of using the big Stanley rucksacks on wheels for work so I thought I’d invest in a bag. What I wanted was a bag small enough to use on the train but big enough to hold a small tool kit without being to heavy. So for me this bag is perfect, for others, the bag probably is to small if your trying to fit a hacksaw frame in here, it’s not gonna happen.... The build of the bag is very good, the straps are padded and there’s even a chest strap (I must admit I don’t really use it) but for some that’s a bonus. The main pocket is very spacious and for me it holds my iPad,a small powerbank and a few charging leads, a usb plug and usually my lunch and a hi vis best for when I’m on site. This main pocket has several pockets to store tools in and you’d easily get a few measuring meters (if your a sparky/ gas engineer) and would hold a large adjustable spanner easily enough (300mm long) I will admit Iv never used the pockets for tools but I have no reason to see why they would fail/not be upto standards. The secondary pocket is pretty small with several divides to store tools in, I have currently in there one small and one medium adjustable a 17/19mm spanner a measuring gauge a 4 way ratchet spanner (10,13,17,19mm) two small hook and picks Wera bit screwdriver handle (150mm long) a large flat screwdriver (10mm flat by 175mm long) a set of wera hex keys (1.5-10mm) a small scraper. A small snap on torch (roughly about 180mm long) So although it’s small as you can see with careful arranging you can hold a fair amount of stuff. For me that pocket is my first fix pocket for small jobs. At the bottom of the bag is a zipped compartment which had a small plastic box with removable dividers. I initially used it but decided to take it out and put a small 10 pocket tool roll in there which holds a few screwdrivers,a 10 inch adjustable spanner, a set of knipex pliers-wrench,a ball hex key set,a few 1/4 drive extensions bars which sockets attached, a 7:16 af spanner,a small punch, a small chisel and a few pens and markers etc. Also in the bottom is a small hammer (8ounce ball pane) so there’s a lot of storage within the bag, even within its base unless you require the small spares box (which btw is well made and looks to be durable) overall while this bag isn’t huge nor am I carrying a lot in it weight wise for me and for what I need it for it’s perfect and serves its purpose well as a bag to travel in/out of work with aswell as do my job should any thing come up on my way in to work. For others who require a lot more space I’d say the Stanley bag on wheels is more suited (that can fit a 12 inch hacksaw In without dismantling it) or if you don’t mind spending the money maybe look at the Milwaukee or veto brand of bags. Overall I’d buy again and more than happy with my purchase of this bag. 5/5 for my needs.
Review: Excellent product - Brought for my son who is an electican and he loves it . Feels good quality, and sturdy.
