## Description

From the manufacturer Paint on Porcelain - Pébéo Porcelain 150 can be applied to porcelain, earthenware, as well as to most surfaces that can be heated to 150°C. Glossy or matt, translucent or opaque colours In bottles, tubes or felt pens, the colours can be mixed together. The choice of the support and the tools used allows to play on the effects, the transparency and the intensity of the colours. Superb glazed appearance after firing They are deep and brilliant, translucent or opaque. Multiple types of application are possible with Porcelaine 150: with a brush, a sponge, a stencil... Baked for 35 minutes at 150°C in a domestic oven for dishwasher resistance Porcelaine 150 brings professional enamels within reach of everyone with a generation of colours that can be fixed by simply firing at 150°C, i.e. in any domestic oven. Instructions for use Mix the product with a stick before use. The colours can be applied directly to a surface degreased with alcohol or soapy water. After 24 hours of drying, place the product in a cold oven. Once the temperature of 150°C has been reached, leave to cook for 35 minutes. The colours then take on a real enamel appearance and are dishwasher-proof (as recommended on the label). Only surfaces that are not intended to come into contact with food should be decorated. Nevertheless, migration tests carried out by an accredited laboratory have shown that accidental contact of the decorated areas with food does not represent a health hazard.

I ordered this to correct the mistakes on the figure and you couldn’t even notice I had done it! Looked great, easy to use, very happy. Only thing I would say is the smell can be very strong, but I used a sanding mask so couldn’t really smell it.

**Q: If I store the pens in a dry place with the caps on, how long will they last? Do they dry up?**
A: I have bought new sealed ones that were dried out, so I don't think the shelf life is very long. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

**Q: What is the difference between Pebeo 150 and Pebeo 160? Is one more for China/Porcelaine and the other for regular ceramics? or is it the finished look of the paint?**
A: The Pebeo 160 is designed more specifically for glass because it is transparent, while the Pebeo 150 is designed more towards porcelain or ceramics and is a semi-transparent to opaque paint. In my experience, the 150 is still pretty transparent depending on the color, but the 160 is even more so and will give the effect of stained glass when applied to a glass surface. I probably wouldn't use the 160 on porcelain simply because it's just too transparent.

**Q: Do you need to bake these to set it?**
A: Let the cups dry for 24 hours and then bake in the oven for 30 mins @ 150. When 30 mins are up turn off oven and leave them to cool completely inside.

**Q: Will the paint be dishwasher safe?**
A: The paint is dishwasher safe ONLY AFTER you bake the piece in a 350 degree oven for 30 minutes.  And, of course, refrain from using scouring pads or abrasive cleaners.

Used on porcelain and glass. Both turned out well, staying on well even after repeated dishwasher wash. Make sure to shake and press on paper every couple of minutes while working with it otherwise it turns out not as bold and requires reapplying.
