**Q: Have previously tried to dye brown shoes black (dylon - not successful). Do I need a deglazer?**
A: No you don't.  I did a lot of research before buying this product and I was recommended to buy cheap, non-oily baby wipes, the supermarket's own brand is good. Thoroughly wipe the item to be dyed with these and allow to dry.  When dry you can dye the item with Fiebings Leather Dye.  I have also been unsuccessful with Dylon and would not purchase from them again - isn't the Internet and the sharing of information marvelous?  Manufacturers of poor products or services can not hide any more.  The brown shoes we dyed with Fiebings, following the above process remained black until the shoes wore out and were thrown away. Do make sure that your item is in fact leather, plastic products may not take dying so well.I hope this helps you.SSp

**Q: is this like angelus brand as i would like to use it on nmd boost midsole**
A: Angelus is thicker mainly for painting leather. Flebings is a dye and watery I am not sure if it's okay for runners sole.

**Q: If this dye doesn't come with an applicator where can I buy one?**
A: Easy peasy, just use one of those little squeegee sponges you use for washing up. They work perfectly. One will be more than sufficient for the job which will set you back a hefty 5p! Rubber gloves are a must, this stuff dyes EVERYTHING including you! P.S. Leather sofa still jet black and looking brilliant!

**Q: Can this be used to dye vinyl handbags ? Unfortunately, the bag i bought is not leather as advertised and the colour gawdy purple?**
A: First thing is to return the bag as it is sold as misrepresented. Leather is more expensive, but more durable.
If the bag is shiny vinyl, then not to this dye. If it is faux?pretend leather, then this may be possible as this is made from leather fibres and a form of plastic. Always best to test first. Also this is a vibrant colour and may not work well when trying to cover it up. Overall, send it back , get what you really what and expect

Been using this product for doing a few different leatherwork projects over the years, always with vegetable tanned leather. Never had any issues at all, and always rub my work down with some boot polish and beeswax once the dye has dried. Only issue I've got with the product is the listing says it comes with the wool dauber, yet I've never received one with any of my orders.
