It is ideal for cold blustery weather and is a good fit (knee length on me, with room for a jumper underneath.) The quality is good overall, although the zip could be sturdier for a coat of this type. Similarly the popper fastenings are small and fiddly. For me, the hood is not a snug fit, but ok when a hat is worn as well.
