So after spending that money on cheaper alternatives, I should have just took the plunge on one of the real deal! I first tried a Tangle Teezer a couple of years ago when a family member had one on holiday and found it was perfect for detangling my pool hair! I got this product when it was reduced to £7.31 so decided it was finally time to take the plunge, and I'm so happy I did! I mainly use my Tangle Teezer for when I go swimming as my hair always feels very tatty and dry when I get out of the pool so hate trying to get a brush through it! The soft bristles mean that they don't tug on the hair too much causing it to snap, instead they just gently tease the hair to detangle it without pulling half of my hair out! I have noticed a significant difference in the amount of hair that has been lost when brushing my hair, it has been much less with this product. I have to section my hair in half to brush with this as I feel like the bristles are too soft to really get through the thicker part of my hair at the back so I just divide it into 2 to do. It does feel really weird having the brush in your hand as opposed to having a handle, I know they do offer this so I think this is the option I would go for next as I find it a little awkward to brush properly at the back with it being in my hand. Maybe I just have a big head? Lol. I don't think I'd ever go back now, this is the best brush I've ever had for keeping my hair healthy and I would love to see a barrel brush that I could use whilst straightening my hair.
