Have been making personalised place cards for a wedding and needed a neat very small hole to drop charms through - this is just the job. The place cards are quite stiff card and this punches through no problem. As you would expect with Fiskars it is very well made, and not cheap, but it works brilliantly and I know it will come in handy for projects in the future.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: what is the size of the rectangle cut?**
A: 1/4 " by 1/8" very very small as for confetti not for shapes activities

**Q: What is the size of the heart when punched out?**
A: They’re tiny: 3/16 X 3/16.  I did use the cutouts for birthday gift tags.  My problem is that I wanted it to punch hearts at the top of tags and tie strings through, and that’s the upside down problem.  They are great for heart openings anywhere else plus the solid hearts that they create!

**Q: Would the 1/8 inch hole punch be strong enough to get through a guitar pick? Picks are between 0.73mm and 1.5mm thick.**
A: I use the 1/16 friskars round hole punch on guitar picks and never have had an issue

**Q: I need the 1/16 in. circles that are punched out for a project.  How well are the circles preserved after being punched?  Are they mangled or deformed**
A: I used the punch to make earring cards on card stock (greeting card thickness) and they turned out well.  I guess it may depend on the thickness of the paper/card you are using for the project.

This love heart cutter is ideal for all crafts, but I use it for nail art. I paint some nail polish onto clingfilm, leave for 24 hours, peel off the film and then use this cutter to cut the perfect love hearts out of dried polish so it can match the nail design and colours that I am using that week! The cutter is so easy to use and just a great item.
