They're enough to provide that bit extra weight so I can feel my muscles getting a workout but not too heavy that they cause strain. I love the neoprene material they are made of as it is really comfortable to hold and I don't feel like I'm losing grip on them even when I work up a sweat. Love the funky colour too. These 1kg weights are approximately 15cm in length and the middle section that you hold is around 9cm in circumference which I find to be really good. I'm only 5ft and have quite small hands so I wouldn't want the middle any thicker or i would struggle to hold it comfortably. I may move on to a heavier dumbbell as I get stronger but for now these are fabulous and providing good results, they're also very reasonably priced to which is a bonus.

I purchased these 1kg weights to use whilst following workout routines online to make the workout just that little bit harder and help tone my arm muscles at the same time. I'm a complete workout beginner so I opted for the 1kg weights as I didn't want to push myself too hard too soon and cause injury. These have been great. They're enough to provide that bit extra weight so I can feel my muscles getting a workout but not too heavy that they cause strain. I love the neoprene material they are made of as it is really comfortable to hold and I don't feel like I'm losing grip on them even when I work up a sweat. Love the funky colour too. These 1kg weights are approximately 15cm in length and the middle section that you hold is around 9cm in circumference which I find to be really good. I'm only 5ft and have quite small hands so I wouldn't want the middle any thicker or i would struggle to hold it comfortably.
