Simply plug the dongle into your computer's USB port and the Wireless Interface allows you to fly with your favourite SLT protocol transmitter (e.g. Tactic TTX610, TTX650 TTX850 and Hitec Aurora 9X series). It is even possible to use non-SLT radios using the Tactic AnyLink2 Adapter (TACJ2005, available separately). To get the most from the system, an eight channel radio is recommended, 4-6 channel radios will work but aircraft functionality will be reduced accordingly. Designed for easy setup, RealFlight 7.5 is compatible with Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10 (Local administrator access required). It is NOT compatible with Windows XP, Mac platforms or Windows emulators such as Virtual PC on a Mac. The simulations seem pretty lifelike and it is easy, for example, to feel the difference between trainers and "hot" models. I would say it is very realistic and immersive. There is a wide selection of aircraft and scenery (places to fly). I am running it in Widows 10 on a fairly modestly specified PC; it installed and runs with no problem.I thought about only giving 4 stars is because I found I had to buy an additional Anylink SLT adapter to get it to work with my Futaba transmitter. To be fair I think this was stated in the product description but I hadn't really taken it on board. I was able to get the adapter for £27.85 (incl VAT and postage) from a UK supplier (not the Amazon one). Even with the additional cost for the adapter it's a good value way to access the excellent Real Flight simulator. It is very handy to be able to use your own transmitter to run the simulator.
