Not sure why it says 4 pack. **Q: How cold and how hot does the water have to be for this color changing thing to work? I tried warm water then cold and nothing happened** A: Hello! Warm water is used to remove the color. Please use ICE cold water, with ice cubes to activate the color feature. **Q: How heavy is the base? Does it stay upright when doing the hair?** A: It's not heavy and it does stay upright but stay away from this toy if your child actually wants the makeup function to work. The whole reason I purchased it was for the color changing makeup. Doesn't even attempt to change color no matter how cold the water is. We even tried an ice cube. Ridiculous. Stay away. **Q: Can it be realistically big enough?** A: Realistically how ? It’s pretty big.
