After a time bits come off.Perfect for indoor football with little kids but outside its soaks up rain water.. **Q: is it plastic or foam** A: Its sponge foam material. Holds it shape well. I know the sizing is not telling us anything but I have bought a few in the past and used the same seller. Some say 20 or 22 and still none the wiser. All the kids at school have them and they're all the same size. I used to buy them from Wilkinsons shop but hard to find them now. My daughter just bought one yesterday for £6 from the Entertainer and they were same size but had a variety of colours.
