Review: More lemon-y than buttery, but a delicious addition to most desserts - I personally love the flavour and find that it enhances almost any sweet recipe (particularly good in ice cream and creamy desserts), but it has a distinctive citrussy acidity to it which is much more noticeable than the buttery notes. It does manage to convey the flavour of a danish pastry's dough and I personally think the lemony flavour improves many things but if you're not a lemon fan then you may not like it. Quite strong so a little goes a long way - definitely at least 2-3 times more powerful than usual supermarket extracts.

I personally love the flavour and find that it enhances almost any sweet recipe (particularly good in ice cream and creamy desserts), but it has a distinctive citrussy acidity to it which is much more noticeable than the buttery notes. It does manage to convey the flavour of a danish pastry's dough and I personally think the lemony flavour improves many things but if you're not a lemon fan then you may not like it.
