Product Description Ethics Every single one of our teas and ingredients is organic. Organic is so important, not just for our own benefits (though there are many) but for the earth's as well. Organic farming drastically decreases the amount of pesticides used, so neither the soil nor you have to ingest any harmful chemicals. it's a more natural way of farming. As part of our mission to give back to the earth, our packaging and tea bags are plastic-free. We were the first to bring stitched (not glued) tea bags to the UK; many other tea companies still use plastic or GM tea bags. The microplastics found in these tea bags find their way into the soil, sea and even the human body. Way back in the late 1980s we were among the first in the UK to produce Fairtrade products, so we're a bit sentimental about it. Since then our Fairtrade range has grown and our passion has remained. As part of our mission to give back more than we take, that also includes supporting the workers and their families. Fairtrade is an excellent organisation which, among other great things, gives the workers a premium which they invest into healthcare, education and housing. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good taste but take care if taking an ACE inhibitor

Bought this product to help lower blood pressure only to discover that if you are taking an ACE inhibitor already, as I am, it can lower your BP too much. This may lead to possible issues unless very carefully monitored. That said, they taste good, particularly with honey.
