It's just like a hair spray smell. I have been using the product for years and love it. You can't smell anything on your hair once it's on. Hope this helps  **Q: Is this product vegan?** A: No idea. I am not vegan so have never checked. Have you checked the ingredients? **Q: I am a little concerned by the fact that this product has alcohol as its 2nd main ingredient. is this not very bad for hair condition?** A: it closes the cuticles, it is a brilliant detangler and leaves hair in super soft condition! The ends have become a little dry so he suggested I use this and it does appear to be helping especially when I brush my hair whilst it is wet. Also I have stop using hair mousse when styling as this spray seems to give my thick hair lots of body and lift at the roots without it. My hair is also super glossy 😍even my husband has noticed 🤣.
